Temper Trap Talk about new synth album

The Temper Trap have recently been speaking about their new self-titled second album and revealed that there is a "80s synth" influence on the record.

This will be Teper Traps second studio album and will be released on the 21st of May and their first single taken from their album 'Need Your Love' on May 7th. The band's guitarist Lorenzo Sillitto said "We've always wanted to go in that direction. We bought a Moog, and we already had a keyboard that had some synth elements. When we got in the studio it was our way of making things more textural, we used a lot of old 80s synths to the songs."

This year is an exciting one for the band as they are headlining their first UK festival at Oxfordshire's Truck Festival. Sillitto also had this to say “The UK was the place where it all started for us, so we're really excited. Headlining a festival seems so bizarre for us at this stage of things.” After the success of their first album ‘Conditions’ it will be no surprise that their new album will appeal to their current audience as well as expanding to attract a much wider fan base.

Foster the People release debut album

After releasing their debut single 'Pumped Up Kicks' the american Trio have realeased their new album 'Torches'. After realeasing Pumped Up Kicks they have become widely recognised as it is catchy as hell, but quirky enough for the ‘cool’ crowd, song subsequently gets fequent plays on radio stations and, seemingly overnight, becomes utterly, irritatingly inescapable.

But after listening to their new album in its entirity Foster the People have much more to offer than a one hit wonder. They have a unique sound which makes one of the bands to keep your eye on over the next year or two. Their twist on Indie by the regular use of synthisises and keyboards gives them that edgy soudn which will attract a large audience.

This summer also is a big one for the band as they are performing at the Reading and Leeds festival for the very first time, and this allows them to generate a much bigger fan base for the band from Los Angeles.

the future is looking good for this abnd i am excited to see the response from their new album Torches which was released on June 24.
